LCN 4040XP Heavy Duty Door Closer with Regular Arm

The LCN® 4040XP-Rw/PA heavy duty door closer with the Regular Arm and parallel arm bracket gives three options for mounting:

Push Side mounted door in a ‘parallel arm’ (P.A) installation.
Pull side door mounted.
Top jamb frame mounted on the push side. (Not CE/UKCA certified in this configuration).

The closer body is manufactured from cast iron which is ideal for institutional and other high traffic applications as it does not deform under pressure giving consistency of operation with a robust forged steel main arm. The closer has fully adjustable spring tension (closing force) EN-1-5 / ANSI 1-6.

Standard closer is non-handed supplied complete with a plastic cover and powder coated arm silver / Aluminium finish and installation template as standard.

The 4040XP-Rw/PA not only solves the problem of closing a door it also does it in a controlled manor, providing dependable and safe control when the door is manually pushed open and closing when released. The closer controls the speed of the door using adjustable hydraulic checks; providing regulated closing speed (main speed and latching) and back-check to slow the opening movement of the door from 70° open.

Parallel arm configuration with Regular arm and 62PA bracket – push side door mounted (Fig 66).
Maximum opening angle options – 90º / 120º / 180º – (set at time of installation).

Hinge (Pull) side mounted:

Hinge (Pull) side with Regular arm – pull side door mounted (Fig 1).
Maximum opening angle 120º (set at time of installation) with alternative Hold-open arm 90-120º.

Top Jam mounted:

Top Jam (push side frame mounted) –
