LCN 4040XP H-CUSH Heavy Duty Door Closer
The LCN® 4040XP-HCUSH heavy duty door closer features heavy duty arm with a built in door stop and a hold-open ‘handle’ to engage / disengage the hold open function (HCUSH arm). When installed with a H-CUSH arm the 4040XP is mounted on the Push Side of the door in a ‘parallel arm’ installation, it is ideal for institutional and other high traffic applications.
Standard closer is non-handed supplied complete with a plastic cover and the arm powder coated silver / Aluminium finish and installation template as standard.

The 4040XP-HCUSH solves the problem of controlling, stopping and holding open a door where there is nowhere to install a door stop with the added hold-open function. The closer controls the door with hydraulic checks; adjustable closing speed (main speed and latch) and back-check to slow the movement of the door from 70° open up until the arm mounted stop is reached. Installing a 4040XP-HCUSH will prevent damage to the door frame or wall by preventing the door from opening too far with the added functionality to hold the door open when required. The 4040XP when installed with the HCUSH arm is not suitable for fire doors.
