The 7000 series stay solves the problem of stopping a door when there is nowhere to place a traditional door stop. It prevents door movement by securely holding the door open when required, preventing damage to the door frame or wall by keeping the door in open position. Without the 7000 series stay the door may be left to swing freely rather than being held open, the door may end up being damaged by being caught by the wind and slamming into the frame, wall or a pedestrian.
